Since founded in 1891, the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) has been a leader of water safety education worldwide, focusing in reducing drowning and increasing swimming, water safety and lifesaving skills. In order to teach safe water behaviors from a young age, the Society launched the ‘Swim and Survive’ initiative in 1982. No matter the level of experience, Swim and Survive is inclusive for everyone at any ability to learn these essential skills. Little Royals Swim School takes pride in teaching this program, and the RLSS history in the aquatic industry.
Why chose Little Royals?
We are proud to provide small classes in our boutique learning facility. With a maximum of three classes in the pool, there is an awesome community feel to our swim school! Our swim teachers love seeing their classes every week, and thrive on building a close relationship with both the children and their parents.
Our indoor pool is heated to 33-35 degrees year round in order to ensure your child’s comfort in their lesson. On the occasion that power outages impact our facility, we guarantee a make-up lesson or a credit.
Supportive Learning Environment!
Our program is structured into skill strands that ensure a balanced, comprehensive instructional approach to a child’s aquatic education
Low Class Numbers!
Our low class numbers provides a friendly, boutique experience, meaning we are able to develop relationships which build trust and confidence.
We offer a private indoor heated pool which creates a great environment for learning. Additionally, we have two outdoor pools and various play grounds for children.
We have an awesome, small team of enthusiastic swimming teachers who all have a passion for teaching and water safety. Developing relationships between children and their teachers is a priority for us, and our swim teachers love getting to know everybody on a better level! All our swim teachers, and even our reception team, know all our learn to swim children by name, and love to remember accomplishments and achievements!
All our Swim Teachers are industry qualified through Austswim and the Royal Life Saving Society, meaning parents have the reassurance that our teachers are certified to the highest industry standard by Australia’s leading aquatic organisations. Additionally, many of our Swim teachers are qualified lifeguards, further providing reassurance to parents that your children are getting the best quality lessons, with the highest level of safety!
