School Programs

The Plantation Swim School provides swimming lessons that are taught by fully qualified Instructors. Our instructors deliver the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive program which is government approved and ability-based. Lessons focus on fun & water safety, identifying dangers around the aquatic environment and also include survival skills & stroke development. Lessons are held in one our indoor swimming pools all year round.

We offer 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute school programs. All students receive a Swim & Survive certificate at the end of the program. We strongly suggest wearing a swimming cap and bringing along a pair of goggles to your swimming lessons. We also have these items available for purchase. Packages which include goggles and caps can also be incorporated into your swimming costs. Please speak to our swim school coordinator if you wish to include caps and goggles into your lesson fees.

We also offer many Competency based courses that may be of interest to your school or staff members:

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR),
  • First Aid,
  • Anaphylaxis & Asthma,
  • Bronze Medallion,
  • Pool Lifeguard,
  • Community courses like the very popular Junior Lifeguard Program, and
  • We can also assist you with in-school programs such as Recreational Bronze Medallion and Bronze Star Courses.

These courses can all be done either in our training rooms at The Plantation, or at your school.
